  • Resolutions Deadline – Chapters must submit proposed resolutions to the Committee: Friday, May 1, 2026

  • To receive a full refund, excluding fees, cancel registration by Tuesday, May 5, 2026
  • To receive a 50% refund, excluding fees, cancel registration between Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and June 1, 2026.
  • No refunds after June 2, 2026.
  • If a registrant is unable to attend the convention for any reason, they may substitute another approved delegate to attend in their place via the National Office.
  • However, aside from this provision, Philoptochos Registration is non-transferable.

Along with meeting people face-to-face, putting names to faces, and making connections, you'll gain valuable insights from the convention to bring back to your chapter at home. You'll learn about fiscal responsibilities, budget reviews, bylaws, commitments, procedures, events, philanthropies, and other important matters.

You both have access to information; however, only delegates are able to vote.

To attend all business meetings. To attend all Philoptochos Programs. To exercise your voting rights. To prepare a complete report for your Chapter or Metropolis.

Review all materials provided to you. Become familiar with the Philoptochos Bylaws. Review basic parliamentary procedures.

Laptop or other note-taking devices (including notebook and writing utensils), refillable water bottle, sweater or shawl in case the AC is on, and a portable charger. Please note that National Philoptochos is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

  • Be prompt - arrive early for meetings
  • Maintain careful possession of your delegate badge. Nevertheless, we urge you not to wear your Delegate badge outside the hotel unless you are on a convention excursion.
  • Keep convention materials together and bring them to meetings.
  • Become familiar with meeting and workshop locations, ladies' rooms, and public telephones.
  • Get to know your fellow delegates.
  • Make notes, prepare questions, and think about what you hear.
  • Make a new friend.

Prepare your report as soon as possible. Your recollections will be fresh, and comments, observations, and thoughts will flow more smoothly. Consider preparing notes for a rough draft. The following are some topics you may wish to include:

  • Convention Theme
  • Synopsis of outstanding speeches, discussion groups, etc.
  • Results of significant speeches, amendments, etc.
  • Items that will affect Chapter plans or goals.
  • Description of your participation.
  • Social activities.
